Since moving to Jacksonville from New York City where he studied with many top musical names and had a recording contract in the 1980's, Randall Keith has performed with many successful local bands. Now Randall branches off again with, "Alpha Dog".
Alpha Dog's regular line-up includes four pieces: Randall Keith on lead guitar and banjo, Tom LeGrand on keyboards and vocals, Jimbo Watson on bass guitar and vocals, and Tim Johnston on drums. One of the rotating fifth members is St. Augustine vocalist Jan Crawford. Alpha Dog claims to be one of the most versatile bands on the First Coast, playing an array of songs and styles.
